Tech giant Amazon is now involved in a legal affair for intimidating striking employees.
Amazon supervisors were found to have unlawfully threatened to withhold wages and benefits, according to a ruling made on January 31 by a federal court that oversees cases for the U.S National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Amazon had threatened the workers of dare consequences if the employees of two Staten Island warehouses decided to form a union.

The judge also discovered that the business had improperly deleted messages from an online forum that were intended to disseminate information about unionization.
However, Amazon was not asked to pay the fine. Instead, the judge ordered Amazon to stop using unfair labor practices and to publish notifications informing the public that it would end further union intimidation.

It appears Amazon may have to consider changing its strategies.
Officials from the Labor Department punished Amazon last month for subjecting its employees to unsafe working conditions. The issue pertained to tough working conditions in warehouses in the U.S.
The other legal battle involves Amazon and FTC. People familiar with the investigations claim that the U.S Federal Trade Commission is putting together a potential complaint against Amazon.com Inc. that may be submitted as early as this spring.
