Artificial intelligence will explore more avenues in the coming years.
The long-term technological dream of artificial general intelligence and the seismic change known as the “singularity” is moving closer to reality because of AI systems.
The possibility was highlighted by Silicon Valley chip luminary John Hennessy.

“The AI revolution is upon us. It is stunning. It has awakened in everybody a sense that maybe the singularity, this turning point where computers really are more capable than humans, is closer than we thought,” said Hennessy at a recent conference.
However, the release of OpenAI’s ChatGPT in 2022, which can hold conversations, answer a wide range of questions, provide advice, pass medical examinations, develop programs, and compose poetry, raised hopes for AI.

In fact, AI is revolutionizing computers, using methods of neural network processing that were inspired by the human brain to solve novel challenges in pattern recognition.
“Some of us believed it would be 40 or 50 years before we had artificial general intelligence. Everyone’s horizon, in my opinion, has probably shifted forward by 10 or 20 years. These models keep expanding, and each time we increase their size, we appear to be able to perform new jobs. Where that will plateau is still a mystery, “ adds Hennessy.
