ConocoPhillips has a long and illustrious history of locating and producing oil. The enterprise continues the job of finding energy in the safest way possible. American multinational firm ConocoPhillips Company is involved in producing and exploring hydrocarbons. Houston, Texas’s Energy Corridor neighborhood serves as its headquarters. Since many years ago, ConocoPhillips has held positions abroad that are part of the Other International division, searching for crude oil and natural gas outside its current business units. “Our scientists and engineers use technology to maximize the production of existing resources and develop previously thought to be unrecoverable areas. We do all of this with a commitment to safe and responsible development that helps achieve economic growth, preserves and creates jobs, and ensures the quality of life,” says Ryan Lance, chairman, and CEO. Alaska, the Eagle Ford Group, the Permian Basin, the Bakken Formation, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Anadarko Basin were among the U.S. regions where the corporation is active.

The company generates nearly a third of its U.S. output in Alaska, operating in the Cook Inlet Area, the Alpine oil field off the Colville River, the Kuparuk oil field, and the Prudhoe Bay oil field on the Alaska North Slope. At year-end 2021, ConocoPhillips had around 1.6 million net undeveloped acres and was the state’s top producer of crude oil and leaseholder for exploration. The second-largest production-wise division for ConocoPhillips is the company’s activities in the Asia Pacific region. The enterprise also enjoys a prominent presence in Canada. The Canadian operations include oil sand assets. Over the course of its more than 50 years of operation in Europe, ConocoPhillips Norway has made significant advancements in both the Norwegian Sea and the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. Talking about Qatar, The firm has interests in the producing field, liquefied natural gas export, and production in the country.

THE LOWER 48

Depending on the output, the Lower 48 constitutes ConocoPhillips’ most significant business division. In the United States, the firm has atypical high-quality roles.

GAS & POWER MARKETING

“ConocoPhillips Gas & Power Marketing is ranked “most likely to be recommended” among major marketers for our best-in-class customer service and unmatched reliability. We provide industry-leading energy services, flow assurance, asset and risk management, scheduling, and back office services 24/7,” informs Lance.

SUSTAINABILITY- A CORE PRINCIPLE

The stakes in the battle to protect the environment and stop global warming rise yearly. The world is more conscious than ever of the negative consequences that the current exploitation and use of energy will have on the future. “We have long played a meaningful role in a vital industry and believe that we have an important role to play in the energy transition by executing three objectives: reliably and responsibly deliver oil and gas production to meet transition pathway demand; deliver competitive returns on and of capital for our stockholders; and achieve our net-zero operational emissions ambition.

We call this the Triple Mandate. Sustainability is core to ConocoPhillips, and ESG excellence is an integrated part of our foundational principles,” concludes Lance. The enterprise is focused on sustainably addressing energy demands while generating long-term value for people, shareholders, and communities.
