The complete rollout of 5g still needs to be achieved. But wireless companies are already talking about 6G.
Indeed, 6G doesn’t exist yet. However, we can still consider it to be a future trend.
According to experts, 6G is the next-gen of wireless technology. The technology, as a future-oriented trend, will be powered by cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and edge computing to pave the way for an entirely innovative internet.

Besides, Terahertz waves, which are tiny, submillimeter-sized radio waves that lie on the cusp between microwaves and infrared radiation, may be used to significantly lower latency and increase data throughput to as high as 1 Tbps, according to 6G researchers. That is one thousand times quicker than the current fastest Wi-Fi speeds offered by the majority of internet service providers.
As of now, all these are totally theoretical. Yet, the ever-increasing interest in the topics may lead to in-depth research and investments toward 6G in the future.
